Benefit rates


A calculator of the Maintenance (Alimony) benefit is available here. By answering some questions, you can find out the amount of the benefit to which you may be entitled.

The National Insurance Institute pays the woman every month the amount specified in the court judgment for maintenance or the amount specified in the National Insurance regulations - the lesser of the two.

The woman’s income from employment and from other sources affects the amount specified in the National Insurance regulations. See chapter on conditions of entitlement

Deduction of health insurance contributions - if you are not working, minimum health insurance contributions of NIS 123 will be deducted from your benefit.
